How do I get to Bible Baptist?
What can I expect on my first visit?
You can't miss our location right next to the Cathedral City Fire Station. The entrance is on Landau Blvd, and you'll recognize it by the welcome sign. Our parking attendants will help you find a place to park; one of our hospitality greeters will meet you and direct you to the right classes and service. They can also answer other questions you may have.
Most adults attend one worship service where they enjoy the music as we sing together and may have a soloist sing before the message. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Todd Giesen. This service is a little over one hour in length.
Also, at 10:00 there is the Connections Adult Bible Class. This class is a smaller group setting where you are invited to meet people, enjoy some coffee and donuts, hear a teaching lesson more directly applicable to your life-stage and ask questions relevant to the lesson. The best way to get to know people at Bible Baptist Church is to visit the Connections adult Bible class.
Where do I take my children?
Starting with an excellent nursery, there is something special for every age child. At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children three years old and under. For the infants, mothers will sign their child and they will be asked to sit near the rear of the auditorium so nursery attendants can easily contact you if there is a need. For children four years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered class. This class is staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.
What about my teens?
We are looking to start a youth class this Spring. This class will have a relevant Bible message for the young people as well as serve as a place where they can enjoy fellowship in a safe environment that will assist them as they seek to know the Lord in a greater way. Most of the teens attend the worship service with their parents.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Bible Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Bible Baptist!
Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?
No. We don't invite you to Bible Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
